We are currently seeking experienced INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT SALES REPRESENTATIVES with a minimum of 5 years proven success in Industrial Sales to join our professional team.  Represenetatives will be based in a geographic area and cover an multi-state territory. Must have experience in selling capital equipment and be conversant in electrical / mechanical hardware and technology such as pumps, controls and metering.  The individual will be required to analyze market data, application trends, and growth opportunities in North America for our markets.  Using market data, the successful salesperson will develop and execute a focused sales approach by taking an active role in meeting with customers, assessing and analyzing their application needs and effectively closing sales. Success requires building confidence with prospective customers over the course of relatively long sales cycles.

Prefer candidates to have a 4-year degree in marketing, business or engineering. Previous sales and marketing experience with technical industrial products / capital equipment is highly desirable.  Must be high-energy and enjoy both the highs of the sales profession as well as using the lows as opportunities for improvement.

Our company is based in Nashville, TN; this position will require approximately 60% travel on an on-going basis.

We offer a base salary, a company car, plus commission and excellent benefits.

Additional Responsibilities Include

  • Working with engineers in our Product Development Group by providing necessary product and market input.
  • Continuous market analysis.
  •  End-user selling events, programs and promotions in conjunction with our Marketing Manager and Distributors.
  • Developing customer-specific strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with customers, OEMs and internally.
  • Attaining competitive product knowledge to achieve higher sales levels.
  • Continuous improvement by staying current on industry changes and trends.

Requirements

  • Prefer a 4-year degree in marketing, business, or engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven success in industrial sales.
  • Must have experience in selling capital equipment and be conversant in electrical / mechanical hardware and technology such as pumps, controls and metering.
  • Proven ability to influence customers as evidenced by sales achievements.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare strategies and problem-solve.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional follow-through skills.
  • Motor vehicle license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and smart phone technology.

Customer Service Representative

Description
ITW Dynatec, a division of Fortune 200 Illinois Tool Works, has an opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative to work in our facility in Hendersonville, TN, just north of Nashville.  Dynatec is the technology-leader in our industry.  We design, manufacture, sell and service adhesive application equipment for a wide array of industrial uses in the packaging, product assembly, non-wovens and converting markets.

Our opening requires previous office experience in a customer service environment. Our most important goal is customer satisfaction.  Primary duties include compiling quotes, expediting orders and scheduling shipments. Will take orders by phone, fax and email and enter them into QAD, our business software. Will also communicate with customers and field sales representatives, as well as most internal personnel.

Prior experience in a manufacturing company strongly preferred as well as additional education or vocational training beyond HS preferred. 

Hours are 8:00AM – 5:00 PM with occasional overtime required.
